7 Generations of Australian Royal Show Group Winners

First Generation - Grand Champion Oldiron Just Awesomme

Justis - Grand Champion Oldiron Just Awsome was our greatest winner at Royal Shows with a Best in Show 3rd, 2 Best Terriers and 4 Best of Breeds at Melbourne Royal Show. At Canberra Royal he was once Best Terrier and twice Reserve in the Terrier Group, At Adelaide he was also twice 2nd in the Terrier Group. 

At Airedale Specialty Shows Justis was Best in Show at the ATC of Victoria 2003 and 2004 and the ATA of NSW 2000 and 2003. He also won 7 All Breeds Best in Shows.

Second Generation - Justis' son Champion Oldiron Thorpedo

Ian - Champion Oldiron Thorpedo was our first Airedale to win Best in Show at an Australian Royal Show when he was BIS at Canberra Royal Show in 2002. He was later Group 4th at Melbourne Royal in 2006. He was also BIS at the Airedale Club of Victorias Specialty in 2001.

Third Generation - Ian's son Champion Oldiron Grange Hermitage

Bacchus - Champion Oldiron Grange Hermitage took Best in Group at the 2006 Canberra Royal Show. He was also BIS at the 2006 Airedale Terrier Club of Victoria Specialty was was the last dog to win an All Breeds BIS at the old Melbourne Royal Showgrounds before the old dog show area was demolished. 

Fourth Generation - Bacchus' son Australian Supreme Champion Oldiron Flamethrower

Torch - Supreme Ch Oldiron Flamethrower was Best in Show 3rd at Adelaide Royal Show in 2012. Torch was also BIS at the Airedale Terrier specialty in Queensland in 2013 and in NSW in 2012. He was also a multi All Breeds BIS winner.

Fifth Generation - Torch's son Aust Supreme & International Ch Oldiron Who's on First

Donny - Aust Supreme & International Champion Oldiron Who's on First was BIG Hobart Royal Show 2018, RUiG & PiG Melbourne Royal Show 2015, RUiG Sydney Royal Show 2018 & RUiG Adelaide Royal show 2018.  At Airedale Terrier Club Specialty Shows he was BIS at the Victorian Club Show in 2017 & 2019 and the NSW Club in 2017 & 2018. He is also a multi All Breeds BIS winner

Sixth Generation - Donny's daughter - Supreme & International Ch Oldiron Easy Peasy

Easy - Aust Supreme & International Champion Oldiron Easy Peasy made it six generations of Australian Royal Show group winners when she as BIG at Hobart Royal Show at less than 2 years of age. She followed this with RUBig at the 2020 Canberra Royal Show. Like all the previous five generations she is an All Breeds BIS winner having won 6 All Breeds BIS's before her 2nd Birthday. In 2019 she was the top winning Terrier Bitch in Australia.

Seventh Generation - Easy's daughter - Ch Oldiron Pitch Perfect

With her Best in Show at Hobart Royal 2023 Rebel, Ch Oldiron Pitch Perfect became the seventh direct generation to win a Royal Show Terrier Group. Rebel is out of Sup & Int Ch. Oldiron Easy Peasy by Sup Ch Oldiron King of the Road. Rebel other Royal wins include Runner Up in Group at Queensland Royal 2023 and Puppy in Group at the 2022 Melbourne Royal.
