  Recent Show News. 

 13/3/12  - We started March with a bang, with Trek taking out a Best Aus Bred in group, under Mrs J Hocking. so that was a lovely start, as Marina has made her appearance back out into the ring this month she acts like she never left. With a couple days left until Puppy of the year, we are proud of how well she is doing.

6/2/12- Calipso "Capebass A Walk in Winter" Daughter of Simon and Winter has become "Ch. Capebass A Walk in Winter" at the young age of 16 Months. A big thank you to Neville Roberts for showing this girl to her title, and another big thanks to Ian Harland for letting us use Simon to produce this litter. 

31/1/12- As we welcomed in the new year, we left 2011 with many winnings and great highs, we finished 2011 with Jack taking out #1 DOL Best of breed Pointscore Newfoundland for all of australia, we are very proud of this boy and hope to see great things from him in 2012.
Trek has made his way back into the ring after having most of 2011 off, already taking out Best of breed at ADI (saturday), a run for runner up in group at another show, we are hoping to see lots more from this boy this year. 
Marina has been invited to "Top Show Dog & Puppy of the Year 2011" after winning Puppy in show at our Championship show back in June, and after spending most of the year out of the ring to grow up, we are looking forward to see her back out in the ring.
Looking forward to seeing lots of wins (hopefully) from the team this year.

16/11/11 - Another month gone so quickly this year is slipping past us so fast. Another month Means another month full of wins.
3/oct Jacks wins Runner up best in show - Best Open in show, under Mrs. G Alexandra.
22/oct Jack wins Best in Group, under international judge Ms D Boyd (NZ),
23/oct Puzzle wins Best Minor in Group and reserve Bitch Challenge over older bitches.
31/oct Jack wins Best of Breed at Vic Womens (8 Breed Enteries), under Mr C Gutierrez
12/Nov Jack wins Runner-up Best in Group, Under Ms G Alexandra

After another sucessful month Jack is still currently leading the Best of Breed pointscore.

1/10/11- Specials Day at the royal, and Jack makes the trip back to the show grounds, to represent the breed.
                               Jack makes us proud getting shortlisted to the final 8 for group.
                               Proud of this boy for making it this far.

28/9/11 - Another Melbourne royal come and gone, with a great breed entry of 22 (16 shown on the day) it was set to be a competitive day. Newfashion Made the trip over to our side of the world

7/8/11- Jack goes runner up in group today this boy is on a role!

31/7/11- On the 10th of July Puzzle went Best minor in group (Handled by Jane), on the 24th of July Puzzle received her first challenge giving her 6 points towards her title, she's on the way. Marina has continued to show well proving to be like her mother, collecting a few nice challenges along the way.
At the Utility Show of Victoria for 2011, Jack took out Dog challenge and best of breed, Trek taking out reserve best of breed, Marina won Reserve bitch challenge over older girls, and as a great way to end July and to end our day Jack took out Runner-up best in show and Best Open in show Under Mr G Sparham.

20/6/11- May and June have been good to us. May show resulted in Jack winning an Open in group under Mrs. H Durell. June consisted on a few shows and our club Championship show.
The champ show was a great day for us,
Marina took out Best puppy in show, Trek took out his class, Winter got second in her class and Both Jack and Puzzle got third in their classes. Roscoe also made his appearance in veterans, running around the ring like an old pro.
Marina also gained her first challenge on the 18th, from puppy class she took out and 8 point challenge.
All in all a great couple of months.

5/4/11- March was a slow month with us attending few shows, though the first weekend of April provided great results. Puzzle and Seeker made there show debut, Seeker did exceedingly well taking out Two Baby Puppy in Groups , both of these pups are taking well to the ring and are showing a lot of promise.  Jack also did extremely well taking out Runner up in Group on the same weekend. Winter also made her come back after having time off for puppies.  
In other news Jack and Trek are the current #1 and 2 (respectively) Dogzonline Best of Breed Leaders at the current time (as at the 5/4/11)  

28/2/11- Time for an update. Great news, over last the two months we have had a visit from Simon's' sister Claudia, she came for a visit so we could show her to her title, and this weekend (26th Feb) She successfully gained her tittle taking out bitch challenge over several other girls. Marina and walker have both taken to the show ring much like there mother, showing lots of potential. At the Australia day shows, Trek took out Intermediate in group on the first day, he did very well preforming in the heat, throughout the ADI shows, all the dogs preformed well with all Walker, Trek and Jack being shortlisted for Group(Jack) or there classes in group, none were successful. Simon and Claudia will return home within the next month. It has been a pleasure to have them here, and we will miss them.

5/12/10-  Walker and Marina (both puppies from the Winter X Simon litter) made their show debut today, both taking to the ring well, and in the end Marina took out baby puppy of breed, without any success in baby puppy in group at the end of the day she performed just like her mother and nothing phased her.
Simon also gained his titled a couple of weeks ago, which unfortunately means he will be returning home within the next couple of weeks, So today at his last show with us he took out best of breed but was knocked out for any classes in group unfortunately, Simon has been such a pleasure to have here, fitting in perfectly with the rest of our lot. We have big hopes for his kids, now just starting in the ring as he leaves.
 

13/11/10- Show updates. Jack over the last few months has won, Runner up in group, Two Aus bred in groups and multiple best of breeds. Simon has won In group placings and many best of breeds. Trek is being shown less frequently now to let him grow into himself. Also watch here for puppy show results starting early December.

18/9/10- Royal Melbourne Show results. Simon 2nd place in intermediate dog, Trek 3rd place intermediate dog, Jack 2nd Australian bred dog. Simon's litter sister Claudia -Newfashion Talks th Talk owned by Ian and Greg harland- (shown by Jane) won best of breed. All in all a good day at the show.

10/7/10 - Jack wins intermediate in group under judge Mr Collin Dickens.

12/6/10 - Winter places 2nd in intermediate bitch at Newfoundland championship show. Jack placed third in intermediate dog. Catrina placed 3rd in open bitch. Summer and kids got 1st in Dam and progeny.

15/5/10 - Jack wins Best Intermediate in Group for the second week in a row.

8/5/10 - Jack wins Best Intermediate in Group, with a strong class.

26/4/10 - Trek gains his title at 15 months, taking out best of breed over his half brother and sister, for a good 8 point best of breed challenge.

5/4/10- Winter wins Best Intermediate in group, with a strong class in group, handled by Emily.

14/3/10- Trek wins Junior in group, as well as taking out a best of breed and a reserve best of breed on the day. (two shows on one day.)

13/2/10 - Trek Wins Best of breed from junior over older dogs gaining him 11 points to his title.
Jack receives Runner up Best of Breed. And Winter receives Bitch Challenge.
